About

Bible Made Plain is the Founding Made Plain reading library, with Bible books as the documents. Chrome, color, and the way the pages work follow the live site at foundingmadeplain.org. The mark is a Bible. The letters are BMP. The name is Bible Made Plain.

Words and punctuation follow the Project Gutenberg King James Version, eBook 10. Line breaks are a reading edition. They are not part of that source. This John file is a first try. The parse is not approved. The ref numbers are not frozen.

How quotations work

Drag the lines you want. Tap Copy with citation. The packet is the short citation, then the quoted lines, then the URL.

John 3:16
“[3:16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

If you are speaking, say John 3:16. The URL uses the BMP ref, which is the navigation address. Search uses the chapter and verse name.

Once a book is accepted as parsed, its ref numbers lock and do not move. This file has not reached that freeze.

Hide BMP ref and Hide verse are in the menu for this first try. That place is not locked. Font controls stay A−, A+, and B.
